Osteopaths see children of all ages, from birth to 18 years of age. Within the clinic here in Oldfield Park, families ask us for information on the normal growth and development of children, assistance after a traumatic birth, all the way through to teenage sports injuries.
The treatment for babies and young children is gentle and normally consists of rhythmic movement, massage and subtle articulation of the cranial bones. None of this is painful. We are happy to work alongside other healthcare professionals providing there is good communication and information sharing.

Dave and his team are excellent. Getting older for me, has sadly meant more aches and pains; but more times than not, Dave will fix my issues within one or two visits. If someone is going to manipulate my back in anyway, this is the only place I would trust to do so. On that basis, I can totally recommend the Oldfield Osteopathic Clinic, just please don’t take my appointment!
I’ve come to see Dave over the last 4/5 years for various different reasons. He’s always very honest and clear. I had a lot of issues with a previous surgeon for my knee in which Dave went out of his way to send a letter to a new surgeon he recommended and got me back on the road to recovery. I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with diagnosing and helping me go forward with any issues I have in the future.
